RELAY FOR LIFE 2005
Our American Cancer Society Relay for Life team had a great campaign in 2005. We were as usual cooking homemade dog treats to sell at our front desk, but we also had a garage sale and silent auction at Open House. It was our first year with an obstacle course at the event for a fundraiser, and it was a huge success with kids and dogs! We had a lot of fun and raised money to fight a disease that will affect each one of us in some way at some time. Finding a cure for cancer is important in our personal lives and the effort made in human cancer research often benefits our patients as well!
