Angie, Compliance Officer, Surgical Nurse

Angie started working in the kennel back in 1994.  Although she quit twice to return to the University, the third time seems to be a charm.  She has worked in all positions of the hospital but says that walking the dogs is still her favorite thing to do at work.  As Regina's sidekick in surgery she misses being able to give her patients treats. She manages to pop up front or walks the wards and hands out treats as often as possible.

She not only works in surgery Monday through Friday but also moonlights at a local low-cost spay and neuter clinic on Saturdays.  She is on a mission to reduce the numbers of strays in the area.

As the OSHA trainer and AAHA coordinator she stays up on keeping the hospital running safely while seeing to it that strict protocols are maintained.  This keeps her from being very popular at work with her co-workers--luckily dogs and cats like her!

At home in the country Regina and her family enjoy taking their three Weimarianers for romps down by the lake.  Her only kitty--Meg lives like a princess and rules the house.
